Abuse, misuse, or violations of law may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.
Smoke Signal does not claim ownership over any user-contributed content, including event and RSVP data. These records are stored in each user's personal data server (PDS) and remain under the user's control.
To support service functionality, Smoke Signal may maintain an index and cached references to publicly available data. Attribution is provided whenever feasible.

The software that powers Smoke Signal is open source and made available under the MIT License. This Terms of Service applies solely to the hosted instance at https://smokesignal.events and does not extend to other deployments of the open source code.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms will be handled in accordance with U.S. law.
We may revise this Terms of Service. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance.
